The Brief
A personal poster celebrating my cat, Sushi. The composition centers on her photo against a muted olive-green background, framed by a pink checkered border. A vertical mauve badge reading 'The Cutest Cat' in script anchors the left edge, while hand-drawn white lilies and a checkered star fill the negative space. A duotone purple portrait of Sushi in the bottom corner echoes the character poster series' halftone treatment, tying this playful piece back to the same visual language.
Process
- 01Built a collage framework around a central photo, balancing it with floral and geometric accents.
- 02Layered a pink checkered border and mauve badge to echo the character poster series' palette.
- 03Added a duotone cat portrait to tie the playful piece back to the series' halftone treatment.
